AR on a per-recording or per-service basis

I asume AR just doesn't apply to radio channels
It applies to everything equally. It's just that nobody can be bothered to send the correct data for radio at all, in the same way that some services can't be bothered to send it for TV. They just send the start trigger as per the schedule, regardless of whether the output is running to time to match it.

Having had a couple of Channel 5's NFL games cut off before the final result, I did a search here for "padding"

Resisting the urge to ask directly, I fiddled around with my Web-IF Schedule page and found the padding dialogue which appears when you click on the "More" button and choose "Disable AR".

Who knew?

Well, everyone apart from me, it would seem.

However, it is limited to 10 minutes on individual recordings.

Is there any way to increase this to 20 or 30 minutes?

BE AWARE that end padding takes priority over new recordings, so if you're to free and easy with it you'll end up losing the beginning of subsequent recordings (on other channels, depending on the number of tuners in use).
