Assume v. Presume

Apparently the adjective 'unwanted' is now also a noun (as per Vintage Cash Cow adverts). "Unwanteds". Triple ugh.

I speak and write the language the way it is used where I grew up.
"Whose" and "who's" are homophones, so it is easy to write the wrong one without realising the error. I did it for years (until recently in fact) with "lead" and "led". That was purely my own misunderstanding.

I'm sure you understand the difference between "its" and "it's"; "whose" and "who's" is the same and follows the same rules. Using "who's" as the possessive rather than the contraction is just plain wrong – a transcription error, if you like.

Thanks for the clear explanation.
