Agreed. It was a very clear and blatant breach of FIFA rules, yet they will likely do very little about it.I haven't watched any football and don't give a toss who wins. However, it is reported that some members of the Argentinian team were seen with a political banner. They have form for this and were fined a piddling amount last time. They may or may not have played fair against England, but they won. If it was down to me I would now disqualify them from the final, Spain win by default, England and France play for 2nd and 3rd place, not 3rd and 4th. Or the winner of England/France plays Spain in a final (date to be determined). That will never happen. If it doesn't, any player seen close to the banner should be banned from the final. That won't happen either. Another piddling fine. FIFA - useless.

I guess at least one of the reasons I don't really care for football is that it's basically just a bunch of cheats constantly trying it on and seeing what they can get away with, whether it be pushing, grabbing, pulling, tripping, thumping, elbowing, kicking, scheming, acting, feigning or whatever. Nobody really seems to care about the rules and they don't seem to be applied consistently. Some countries (races) seem to be better than others at this of course. One wonders what the point is of having any actual skill.
And yes, the Argy b@5t@rd5 are a bunch of the above. Let's hope Spain win.
