Can you use the Freesat Android App with Foxsat-HDR?

I recently noticed the Android Freesat App which allows you to set a recording from your phone/tablet when you have a Freetime box. Looks handy and I will keep it just for the EPG functionality, but is there any possibility that the App can be tricked into working with a Foxsat-HDR (with custom firmware)?
I expect the answer to be no, but if you dont ask...

No, this isn't possible. There may be something on the horizon for the custom firmware though....
