Can't get new "please wait" fix update to work using usb.

Anybody had any luck installing the new update using a usb. Some people have had no problems but I've tried everything, two usb sticks, changing the file name, but nothing. Guess I'll just have to wait till the 14th October when the new update (1.00.17) goes OTA.

Yes, i always update using a usb because you get the download earlier, its usually very easy, and its very quick.
