I think it is still worth a complaint to T Mobile, for acting as a censor in an unconstitutional manner. It might even be considered illegal.

My ISP at home is T-Mobile - using Chrome on my Nexus 7 tablet to get the custom firmware returns an HTTP error code of 500.

Using the same tablet and browser in my local (unsure of ISP) downloaded the file with no issue...

On that basis, I would say it's an ISP blocking issue.

Obviously the basic IP connectivity is working otherwise you wouldn't get a 500 error from whatever server is responding.
Perhaps they have some sort of proxy or something. Difficult to tell without IP traces etc.
I would probably suggest ISP incompetence rather than blocking though.

I don't want to come off all whiney - I'm not only grateful for all the efforts put into the custom firmware and packages, I now have an extra reason to go for a beer
