Channel editor returning 500 server error

I have two foxsat-hdrs both connected to the same dish (4 wires) One has now failed with the Raydon channel editor. The other works. How can I fix this? Tried cold reboot - no joy.

Minimal information.

Install 4.1.3 if not already.
Run fixdisk from maintenance mode.
Reinstall Webif and packages:
From command line (using telnet) at the "humax#" prompt, issue the command rm /opt/etc/.DO_NOT_DELETE_THIS_FILE, then reboot.

Of course the hard disk may have unfixable physical problems.

"Server error' implies the web service running on the Foxsat (custom firmware) has become corrupted, and you will need to fix it or reinstall the CF.

Thank you for the replies. Raydon's 4.1.3 is installed.

I,m not sure how to enter maintenance mode and run fixdisk

IIRC the Foxsat CF has instructions on the home web page... but I suppose you can't get to that!

Without access to the web interface (and I'm not sure what facilities the Foxsat WebIF has anyway), you'll need to use the Telnet interface by firing up something like PuTTY and working on the command line.

After trying all other options, I finally succeeded with the 'nuclear option'
That is:
From command line (using telnet) at the "humax#" prompt, issue the command rm /opt/etc/.DO_NOT_DELETE_THIS_FILE

That got me (back to) the initial Raydon installation page & enabled me to downnload all of the packages that I required.

Many thanks to all of you!
