This reminds me of the ferrets used to do exactly the same job (see here). Check the date. I remember seeing this and thought it was for real.

Yes - I did put "check the date"!
However, I remember seeing this on TV a few years back and hadn't realised until today that it may not have been all it seemed. (Why isn't there a smiley for gullible?)
 
I originally got fooled by the spaghetti item. My parents only ever did English, so I had never eaten Italian.

1957, 60 years ago, and I was 10. Sorry, no excuses. :confused:

On the plus side, I did pass my 11 plus the following year, as there were no questions about pasta.
