If I select DMAX (147) or DMAX+1(153), I get 'channel scrambled'. I've tried a rescan, but it made no difference.
Is this the same for others?
Can I add it as a non-freesat channel?
Both channels are in the clear but using H.264 rather than MPEG2 coding... along with many other channels that have changed in the not too distant past.
EDIT August last year for DMAX: https://hummy.tv/forum/threads/missing-channels.11636/
Both are working fine on my Foxsat-HDR, having checked just now (we never watch those channels).
The Tp carrying them is the highest frequency Tp 12382 H so check if other Hi band Tps work:
e.g. Food Network / +1 12032 H and $ky Mix HD 12168 V
It may indicate an issue with LNB switching.
Or cable/connection problems giving greater losses at high frequencies: Use the Diagnostics Menu for Signal and Quality readings. Dish may also have moved slightly?
That sorted it, I hadn't realised that a rescan didn't overwrite the previous channel settings. Thank you.
Rodders53I was confused as I could see the other channels on the Mux. Unfortunately, for me, that is where Discovery have decided to put the Giro Highlights this year, and the Freesat signal is better quality than the Freeview one. Thank you for your suggestions.
