Forum software upgrade planned for 20/11/2024

I am seeing the same thing - EPG for Thursday and Friday next week is blank.

I would specualtes that the absence of EPG data is the root cause of the other display problems.

I tried running rse epg offer
Code:
 rs epg offer
Fri Nov 22 13:49:59 2024 + Negotiating EPG transfer for net 12340 (South)
Fri Nov 22 13:50:03 2024   - Wants service * (>1)...

Fri Nov 22 13:51:02 2024 + Transmitting 1578926 bytes.
>>> Received 1578926 bytes.
>>> Uncompressing received data...
>>> Done, restored 9077403 bytes.
Fri Nov 22 13:51:07 2024 + Done.
No effect on epg display 😥

So the former "Conversations" are now called "Direct Messages" if you haven't already spotted it (I hadn't).

The RS EPG is populated for me... up to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday are only showing me Wales services.

...even after rs epg offer

Had a couple of errors too:
Code:

RS is still a bit weird, but it may not be anything to do with the software upgrade.
If I select next Saturday with a 4 hour window starting at 2am on the EPG, several services disappear - 1,7,29,101
If I use 1am or 3am they are all there.
These all have programmes that start at 2am and finish at 6am or beyond - perhaps that is a clue to the bug.

My RS is now populated properly, including proper descriptions and recording times.
Thank you.

Must be time for some Christmas Joy on the paypal link. :cheers:

What I have noticed is that the auto searches haven't worked this morning (both email alert and nothing scheduled). It has affected both humax's. If I manually match events then they are successfully matched.
All auto searches were recreated on friday after deleting the boxes from the rs service before getting to this thread

I'll take a look this morning.

I have some remote scheduling rules which are failing to match with the relevant events. The no working rules all have LCN ranges and it is the LCN conditions which appear to be no longer working.
The rules I noticed it on are permanently disabled as I run it manually every now again. The last time it was used (successfully) was on the 16th or 17th November. It no longer finds any events when run manually. I know there should be some results.

Here is a very simplified version of a rule, and another version which uses Channel Name instead of LCN. The behaviour is just the same as my established rules I.e. Clicking on "Matching Events" for the first rule returns "No results found.", but clicking on "Matching Events" for the second rule produces results.

I can easily adapt mine to avid LCN usage but I'm curious why LCN conditions are no longer working, and if anyone else reading this has anything similar happening to their rules.

I had something similar a while back, when I resurrected some disabled rules, they wouldn’t find anything when running. I tracked it down to them having previously match via a now deleted rule, but not showing as matched. I recreated the original rule. Ran it then cleared the history, deleted the newly created rule and then the undisabled rule worked.

Obviously could at this point have left the new rule in place but this became about fixing the issue. My issue was on standard rules rather than an advanced rule

Thanks, but to run these I click on "Matched Events" so that is not the cause.
(1) Clicking on "Matched Events " and the execution does not take account of previous test match dates;
(2) For rules that do match something that same rule can be tested again and again via "Matched Event" producing the same results again and again;
(3) Also if tested through "Matched Events" the test date is not stored by RS.

Should have included my issue happen on both auto running and "show matched events"

Could you please check and see if the issue is resolved now?
Matching events showing correct results, edit Emails also OK

Still have problems with U&... channels
