HD-FOX T2 Newbie

still doesn't show decrypt though in the opt+ menu

It won't do, but if the pie chart is green then you're in HDR mode.
If you install the virtual-disk package then you can copy a recording to the virtual drive using the remote and it will be decrypted en-route. You'll end up with two copies of the recording, the original encrypted one and a new decrypted one.

Ill have a quick go.

Sorted :D

Thanks for helping me out! Appreciated

Just another quick thing, Has anyone else noticed that the schedule/epg is a bit out? It said Family guy finiashed at 23:15, which it did, but upon pressing record at 23:10 it said that the next show had started at 23:10 American dad.

It almost seems asif its 5mins out of sync?

Or could the thing i mentioned above be down to time padding?

I've set padding for 2 mins before and after, Is Padding a good idea? Just i seemed to miss around 1-5 mins off a programme i recorded last night (8 out of 10 cats do countdown) Seem to just randomly cut off..

Thanks to all.

Excellent thread - dare I say, "idiot's guide" - which will suit me perfectly......;)

Cheers

Hi guys i am having a lot of truble entering HDR mode i have telneted in and used the commands
humax# opkg install wget
humax# opkg install BootHDR --force-reinstall
But once I use bootHDRmode command the picture freezes and the box will not respond from the remote or box switches. I have to kill the power.
I have also tried to boot into hdr mode by moving the trigger folder to the root of the drive but it will not boot into hdr mode.
Any help will be much appreciated.

I really hope this is not a loader or hardware revision issue!

I get exactly the same freezing problem that you have stated did you eventually get this resolved? Or can someone shed light on this? I've tried with the trigger file too and reformatted and reinstalled a few times all to no avail maybe it is a hardware issue? I'm sure i'm not doing anything wrong.
