How can I watch live a programme I happen to be recording?

When I go to the EPG and select the channel to watch live, it assumes I want to play the recording and takes me to the beginning of the recording. How do I watch live?
 
I don't know... is there an "options" button/menu from which to select the desired operation? (I mention this because on the HDR-FOX people get used to pressing "OK" for just about everything they want to do, and then don't know about the choices available via OPT+.)
 
Things to try

Key in the channel number directly?

Switch to the channel just before or just after and press Channel Up/Down?
