Humax not receiving channels that the TV does.

Hi guys, sorry if this isn't in the right place. Please delete if so.

I noticed some channels on my Humax had an error message saying it was scrambled or no signal. The TVs feed comes through the Humax so I'm not sure what's going on.

In my case, the Humax isn't picking up channel 42 at all even when I manually search the correct frequencies. Any ideas before I perform the arduous task of a factory reset?

I forgot to say I performed a new channel install and all the channels on 42 are now missing in the line-up.

Why would you expect that to have any affect?

Not all tuner hardware is identical. What sort of signal strength/ quality are the humax settings showing

What did you expect if 42 is not receivable for whatever reason?

A couple of questions:

We don't know what transmitter you're using but is the missing Ch42 the HD multiplex?

What does the TV say the signal strength and quality is for Ch42?

Definitely not in the right place, because this query has nothing to do with the custom firmware, and it is only by implication we presume your "Humax" is a HDR-FOX (other models are available).
