Humax TV Remote App Problem

Having upgraded to iOS 12(.0.1) on my iPad and iPhone, the TV Remote App no longer finds the Fox T2.

Has anybody else hit this problem?

It was working ok on iOS 11.

Here we are two months on and the “TV Remote” app in iOS still won’t connect to either of my boxes.
Is anybody out there managing to use the app on iOS 12 successfully?

I'm certain that you are much more clued in than I am concerning the Humax app ...

• Is content share still switched on for the HDR-FOX T2s?
• Is 'rc-app-bridge' still installed on the HDR-FOX T2s?
• There was an app update for iOS 11 (1.0.15). As you had it working for iOS 11 presumably your are on 1.0.15 or later?

I'm aware that the app is faster, but as a work round are you using the custom firmware's browser based IR package instead?

- sharing is on
- running 12.1 iOS
- rc-app-bridge version 1.0.16

I do use CF or as alternative but, as you say, it’s not as quick/convenient.

Perhaps it’s my network, though I can’t think of anything that has change.
Can I assume that the app works ok for you? It would be helpful to know if anybody is still able to use it on iOS 12.

The Humax Remote app is currently version 1.0.16, and the rc-app-bridge Package is version 1.0.0.

Sorry my mistake, you are correct. I am running:
Rc-app-Bridge v 1.0.0
iOS TVRemote app 1.0.16.

Just search for humax remote in the App Store and you will find it.

The app does not mention the Fox T2 in its supported devices list, but AF123 wrote rc-app-Bridge to support this.

Okay on iPad Pro & iPhone 8plus on iOS 12.1.1 it looks like the app finds the hdr and connects but no commands are working, the app acknowledges the button presses as it lights up but the humax doesn’t respond, sorry don’t know what else to say

At least you are able to get further than me.
So I suspect that my problem may be network at my end.
But even if I solve that I might still end up with no responses like yourself.
