No offence meant. My point was, why are we attracting only males to this forum? I find it an excellent forum and have contributed to its upkeep, but am surprised that no females post here, despite the usual friendly atmosphere.

The forum Does have quite a few female members, a quick glance at the members list shows 7 female members in the "A" section alone, and a number have posted on the forum in the past.
 
My OH spends her time knitting toys for the village craft fare while I mess with PVRs and media recodes and catalogue my stock of hard disks. Somewhere there must be a forum for craft knitters where there are very few male contributors.

One male former colleague joined a knitting group to knit a Klein bottle. This, of course, is impossible.
