I realise Saturday afternoons are traditionally for sport, but...

No, sorry, I'm not equipped for that (except on my iPad screen), and even if I was I'm rather traditionalist – unlike GenZ (or whatever) who wouldn't dream of watching linear TV, I think there is value in the mixed content you (should) get instead of binge-watching self-interest content.
I think it is time you replace that old black and white TV and the UHF aerial it is connected to. Curiously, or may be not, I often curate my own viewing schedule but find myself mixing up the genres and preferring to watch programmes on demand at a similar time of day to when they are typically broadcast. Currently working my way through Poirot which I see as a nine'ish watch and also Dr Who which I prefer to watch earlier in the evening with a light comedy and/or documentary sandwiched in between.

If you want nostalgia Talking Pictures on channel 82 is your best bet. Next Saturday, Whiplash ( not what you think :-) ) and later Tommy the Toreador 1959. It has also got a vast catchup library.

Each to his own. However, my TVs are not due for pensioning off... just not "smart". And I use my Internet bandwidth for computer things.
