Is this a Humax failing, or more fundamental?

If anyone has the entire formula1 series set we could tell in November.
I did have, as that's what I did all my testing with, but I've since removed it. I'll reinstate and keep an eye on it if you like.

Please - I can't do it because some of the events conflict with other recordings I have set. I've put in the nightmare neighbour next-door one though so see if it continue to channel hop. The key would be whether the US grand prix appears in the schedule properly in a couple of weeks.

So I just need to wait and see if Saturday the 18th of October appears in there come this weekend.
(They really have got the series link wrong on this one haven't they?)

I realise that this is the T2 thread, but FWIW I have just tried setting a series record on this week's Russian F1 on my Foxsat HDR. I first set the first Friday practice on series link and it only scheduled the three on BBC2, 2 on Friday and 1 on Saturday @ 08:55. I then set the Sunday race (on BBC1) to a series link and the Hummy set the race and the Saturday 11:15 practice as a separate entry. The series CRID is the same for both the BBC1 and BBC2 series.

Hmm, after tonight's recording of the Nightmare Neighbour... my schedule looks like this:

I was just about to post the following. The entry may have changed before the recording!

CH5 have produced a very confused set of CRIDs for this series. What adds to the confusion is that it is not obvious what would be a correct result for a native HDR-FOX T2.

Unless someone can shed light on what would be preferable to record the only verification of what is the 'correct' result would be to compare the results with settingthe same timer, from the same epg entry, using a remote on a 2nd HDR-FOX T2.

With this Ch5 series the events included in the epg can change to something more rational after a 2nd reboot if set by the web-if, or the next reboot if set by the remote! Was the snap taken after only 1 reboot?

Yes, just the one. I added it through the web interface then rebooted to get it into the main schedule.

The recording tonight suffered from the DEC+ENC flag problem too - I recently retuned.

@BlackHole - I know you have a few boxes available, would you be up for setting this series to record on two of them, one via the webif and one via the remote and seeing what happens to the entry after one and two reboots, and what happens when Saturday's episode records?

When using webif to schedule the series on ch5 the event was 0 and there were extra eventsIMG_20141010_202021.JPG

on another box the schedule event on top left was 19 after scheduling with a remote. IMG_20141010_202021.JPG note only two events on schedule.

after reboot

webif booking IMG_20141010_205223.JPG

remote control booking (coincidentally also event 19 on hdr1 and hdr2) IMG_20141010_204328.JPG

after second reboot both scheduled items still identical.

Is there still a need for this?

At the moment, it's like this:
Code:
INSERT INTO "TBL_RESERVATION" VALUES(2,3,655556,1413108000,'00000000000000',11700,0,60313,
'Formula 1: The Russian Grand Prix',
0,0,0,0,0,0,0,4,50,'FP.BBC.CO.UK/TTOKMT','Formula 1: The Russian Grand Prix -...',
'1FP.BBC.CO.UK/7A3ABE|1FP.BBC.CO.UK/7A3ACZ|','1FP.BBC.CO.UK/7A3AB5|',
X'C4000A0020513A54D47E3A5499EB0000',0,60312,30);

And now like this:
Code:
INSERT INTO "TBL_RESERVATION" VALUES(2,3,655556,1414967400,'00000000000000',5400,0,64299,
'Formula 1: The US Grand Prix Highlights',
0,0,0,0,0,0,0,4,50,'FP.BBC.CO.UK/TTOKMT','Formula 1: The Russian Grand Prix -...',
'1FP.BBC.CO.UK/7A3ABE|1FP.BBC.CO.UK/7A3ACZ|','1FP.BBC.CO.UK/7A3AAW|',
X'C4000A0068B0565480C556542BFB0000',0,60312,30);
So it's only picked up the BBC1 entry for Sun. and missed the BBC2 one (7A3AAM) for Sat.
I have just had to clear out the EPG on this box though as it was doing 'funny things', so how conclusive this is I don't know.
