Lazy copy and paste reporting that seems to be the norm..............................................

Though there is still hope even if it comes from a non native British reporter.
 
Claire O'Neill (Co Founder of Grid Faeries talking about a wind/solar fed battery for use at festivals etc. on Points West bulletin:
"It's got 3 MWh of power stored in it."

Well, quite a few marks for getting the units right, but then lose them all (and more) for mis-attributing them.
 
Exactly. The units were correct. What she attributed them to was wrong.
You cannot store power, as you well know, but at least she didn't say "It's got 3 MW of power stored" which would be more wrong, although itself consistent.
