Might be something I've missed

Pugged a USB drive into my T2 a few days back, with two .mkv files and and .mp4 file which I wanted to view. It refused to play the mp4 but to my surprise, played the mkv's. It.s never played mkv's before and the last thing I remember reading about this was that it was highly unlikely they ever would play mkv's. I have the latest CF, as far as I'm aware. Any idea's?

Whenever I have tried to play mkvs, they just play a second or two and then show the unsupported format message.

As with all container formats, it depends what streams it contains (as well as the container format itself).

It looks like I did miss that one.
