No teletext causes odd pop-up

Just curious while I'm here:
I dont know if this is new or just because I've only revcently started using a local net and I've
just not noticed before but...
If a chanel has the 'i' for info (ie Teletext symbol) and you try to load teletext
when that channel doesn't use teletex an odd pop-up appears.
Sometimes you have to select multiple times to get it.

Could this be because I don't allow the boxes on the inet or is it something else?

What "i for info"?

an odd pop-up appears.
What "odd pop-up"?

BBC services suggest to "press red". That means the red button (out of red green yellow blue), which brings up data from the Red Button data channel LCN 250.

Could this be because I don't allow the boxes on the inet or is it something else?
Wouldn't make any difference, the HDR-FOX has been left behind for anything Internet, and even when introduced any services which should have been delivered by Internet crashed the box.

There are plenty of services listed in the EPG which have no broadcast transmission and would be delivered by Internet to a smart tv, but they won't work on HDR-FOX.

I'll just ignore the sad sack above shall I?

Mostly news channels seem to have the teletext available icon here - I don't know if it's different in different areas.
press the "info" button look for the "i" indicating teletext normally found only on BBC channels.
To get the pop up just press the 'Text' button on any channel other that BBC you don't expect teletext to be on but
the icon is showing
eg one of the news channels - sky news or GB news - you may have to press the text button repeatedly on the remote
if you get the pop up you cant miss it - big blue background

I took a screen shot - I'll post it shortly - I expect someone may be able to ID it.
(Actually I had assumed it was already seen and someone knew what it was from)
