Why should anyone look any further than this "FM", especially as there is no link to further information?

I suspect the £ character is causing the problems. I'll have to set that same series to record and work out how to fix it.

If your FTP client is also confused by the £ as it seems it is, try a different client.

just to let you know you are right about the £ causing the problem after deleting all files by FTP I then set the hummy to record the last episode of the series, after work toady low and behold the problem all started over again. Files now being deleted by FTP and will not record it again.
