Recommend Me a Router

A hammer should be used to put screws in and a screwdriver used to take them out.:)

The router always seems to have its internet connected, that's the strange thing. When the tv was getting configured by the router, and lost connection, dns was set to 4.3.3.3 or something like, threes and fours. When I gave it static settings, of course, it retained those but failed to connect to the internet. Puzzling.
 
Not yet. I suspect my router assigns it the same IP address each time anyway, and the iPad can't keep the same address all the time because I connect to a variety of networks, so I suspect I won't get any benefit. When I get around to it I will confirm the router assignment (and adjust if not).

I really don't know how that symptom can be applied to WiFi :confused:
I could guess, but that would contravene your views as implied in another thread this morning :)
(My WiFi is fine at present, but the router is screwed to the wall ....)
