recording issues!

I cant record another channel whilst watching say BBC One,i just got my Humax yesterday! if i try to watch something else a message comes up saying LNB SHORT!,my connections are fine,one cable into LNB1,and another in LNB2,canny anyone help? hope so,thanx!
 
Are you absolutely sure the cables are in the right sockets? There is an extra socket between the two which is left blank if you have a two cable feed.
 
Have a look in Settings and see if the box set for two cable operation. If both Sat cables were installed when you set the box up it should have been automatic. You may have to do a channel search on the other tuner.
