I haven't tested it. Possibly not, but it makes the reporting better on older versions of the WebIf and it reduces confusion.

If you have the time (and patience ) please could you explain further ... where to put the code/instruction and what it'd do?

It reduces the reserved pool from 5% of the disk to 0%.

I agree but it is worth pointing out that running the file system with very little free space will result in more fragmentation over time.
