I have started a new thread because I don't know which package to attribute this to. I am not even certain that it is related to CF. Please move if appropriate.
On Sunday night I brought HDR1 out of standby (using remote), to access via webif.
I am using:
Web interface version: 1.0.11-4 (Lighttpd)
Custom firmware version: 2.21 (build 1897)
Humax Version: 1.02.32 (kernel HDR_1.02.32)
I could get no access so I switched to the HDR on the TV to find it was asking me to select a language and the word "Wizard" appeared on the front display.
After going through the setup process, manually retuning, and setting up the network, webif was working again ( I thought). And I ran the fix flash packages diagnostic.
When I went to restore the schedule, I found that the last auto-backup was on the 22nd, which was the night before I installed the lighttpd package.
No auto backup has run since that date (I was waiting to check this morning before posting). It may have no connection.
Equally, I had been experimenting with new Android apps to access the HDR media during Sunday.
As far as I can tell everything else is working normally, though I am not familiar enough with the logs to get anything from them. I can post some of the logs on request, or run any special diagnostics to shed light on what might be wrong.
