T2 Rebooting

One of my T2's is rebooting every few minutes. It has CF but is not connected to the network. If I remove the antenna plug I can view media with no interuptions, but within a few minutes, about two or three, of reconnecting the coax it plays up again. I will check later to see if it only happens on certain stations and post an update.

TIA

I see – shoot (post) first, ask questions (do your research) later! This is not news...

Reboots after a retune on a particular channel

Crash - Wait Reboot in 10..9..8. in a repeat cycle

Legend Crashes HD-FOX
Point taken.

It's my ex wifes machine, so access is limited, although I've had some time on it this morning.

It seems to be channel related, as it's happening on PSB2 D3+4 mux, Ch 26 Carmel Transmitter, but only when I tune to Ch3 ITV SD. The other channels I've tried on the mux seem to be OK. You'll probably know that it doesn't show up in the Freeview listing for that mux (https://ukfree.tv/transmitters/tv/Carmel) or any other mux on that transmitter. Obviously NOT a T2 issue. I did a re-tune and ITV 1 SD is still there in the listings, and still causing crashes. I thought they were going to turn ITV SD off, but this seems to be a halfway house. Neither one thing or the other.

That is an issue with at least some Humax Auras at the moment. Is it an Aura rather than an HDR-FOX T2 that she has?

Thanks for your reply.

It's not an Aura it's a T2, which has been running for over an hour now with no crashes. I've told her that Ch3 ITV1 is a no go.

A long shot as it is a different model and so far there appears to be only 1 report of someone who thinks their actions fixed it for them is a retune for ITV SD.
The simplest way to do that on the HDR-FOX 2, or the HD-FOX T2, is to make a note of the recording schedule, delete ITV SD (probably not necessary but just to be double sure that it has been replaced), and then manually retune just PSB2. After that, check the schedule for any missing entries that need re-entering.

He quite clearly stated ITV(1) SD.

ukfree.tv is and always has been a cess-pit though. Don't believe any of it as gospel. It's just the toy of some geezer with a web-site.

That seems remarkably magnanimous!

I've not heard of this happening on main-stream services though, you didn't say which service it was.
Upon consideration, no not really because it was always her way or the highway. For many years I've told her to watch the HD channels and it's taken this for her to listen. ITV1 SD.
