Wakeup for recordings causes TV to switch HDMI inputs

You said it briefly came fully awake. As there is no video or audio output it cannot be fully awake. Set a accurate recording programme reservation. Put box in sby and turn on TV and select the correct input. Watch what happens when the box wakes up, if it does become fully awake you will see Video and hear the Audio. Also try same but without a reservation but turn off the box power. While watching TV turn on box power, it will wake up for a short period and then shut down (to restart the clock) but will have no output.

I'll try it again tomorrow, but this time I'll switch my TV to HDMI1 first and see exactly what's what. When I say it came fully awake, it looked like, from the front panel display, insofar as I saw the CF version number on the T2 display for a short time before the display on the T2 went blank again.
