Watching my Humax on upstairs TV

I don't think my solution will suit you, as nas boxe are stupid expensive but here goes anyway.

I suck off my humax recordings to my pc. I then use vsdc to strip out the ads and blur any logos. I often convert the output to a smaller size with handbrake. Copy the result to a shared disc on my NAS whereupon it can be seen anywhere on my network via any dlna player - vlc works but so would jellyfin.

Not as time consuming or onerous as it sounds, one you're used to the wokflow.

I just use detectads on the humax and can view anywhere on my network with no data moving or manual work required, you appear to be creating work for yourself

@zeltus Are you still using a FoxSat as in your first post a few years ago?
