WebIF does not show all media content

Seven recordings stored under "My Video".
Numbers 1 and 2 (the oldest two) were with STANDARD FIRMWARE 1.03.12.
The latest five were recorded after installing the CF, a couple of days ago

The WebIF only shows program numbers 1 and 3 !
Telnet shows all seven.

Any ideas?

Are any of them "Locked" and what version of WebIf? There was a recent bug that caused something like this.

Web interface version: 1.2.4-7
Custom firmware version: 3.03 (build 2368)
Humax Version: 1.03.12 (kernel HDR_CFW_3.03)

On the TV they are all a mix of G, HD and ENC. None are locked.

The two visible in the WebIF show flags:

SD, indexedByDLNA, OPT+
none

..and on the TV those two show, respectively:

none
HD, ENC

Check webif-error.log on the Diag page. Still worth updating to 1.2.4-8 as well.

Sorry I clicked the log not the error log:

To update go to Packages and select the Upgrades tab, you can also install the auto-update package to automate the checking and installation

Your log entries look similar to the recently fixed bug,

Right,
I "upgraded all packages".
The list is now complete.
Thanks.

Confused about the difference between "upgrading" and "updating" ?

...in other words the two buttons "Update package list from internet" and "upgrade all packages"
The answer is in the words: "Update..." updates the locally-stored list of packages, not the packages themselves, and is an appropriate action to perform prior to actually upgrading the packages so you can see what's new..

Yes, I see. Doesn't seem like it could be put more clearly. Doh!
Both are coming from the internet (which confuses).
Both are "updating", I guess only the packages could be seen as being upgrading as an alternative.
So it's:
Update local list of packages
Update all packages

I don't see what "Refresh" gives over "Update".
Can you update packages to something other than the "latest"? No, you can't, so why bother with those two extra words?

"update" and "upgrade" are the standard commands for synchronizing the package index, and upgrading packages in package management systems like apt-get and opkg.
Best to just leave them alone. It's really not that difficult to understand is it ?

Not once you know.:roflmao: But a bit confusing if you don't. For instance, does 'Upgrade All Packages' download all the latest stuff or do you have to 'Update Package List From Internet' first? It's not self explanatory.

Well, what's the answer.
Oh, and why did you 'have to work it out'? Is it not self explanatory?
