I've done the same here but I don't recall seeing any failures.
I could send you a debugging version if you experience them fairly often.

A watched pot never boils and a watched program never fails!
I haven't seen any failures since turning on the debugging - failures have always been rare and unpredictable and only spotted when detectads doesn't start when expected

Having said I have seen no failures it actually failed during the night

So it failed before writing the next expected Spawning thread [auto-unprotect]. message

aa_setencflag does nothing other than logging its calling argument

There have been numerous previous successful occasions where all the routines have been spawned for the MOVED_FROM event so it is not obvious what failed this time

I hope this help identifies where additional Catch protection might be needed
 
ian_j not sure how you got on with resetnew. However I had this a while ago and have implemented the following (with thanks to MymsMan)

That would reset the counts hourly at 52 mins past the hour.
