Since the box is only about 3 weeks old I don't really feel like messing about with firmware mods quite yet. I presume it invalidates the warranty if you do so? However it is worth knowing that these options exist. Cheers all.

I have a Iomega NAS that does not support DLNA - however it does (apparently) support Samba - is there any way I can get my Hummy to access the files on the NAS (photos mainly, but there are also some videos on there) and show them on the TV ?

I don't (yet) receive the HD channels where I am, and I don't have a (reliable) USB pen drive - is there any other way to update the firmware on my Hummy? After all it can connect to the internet to display iPlayer and such like, so can it download the updates? Thanks

Hello all, Does anyone know what the little "battery low" - type icon represents on the front display of the Hummy (I don't mean the on-screen display, I mean the actual panel on the box itself). I presume it doesn't actually mean "battery low" - is it the used disk space or something like...

I think I do get the HD channels (don't have a HD ready TV yet though - the Hummy was "phase 1" of my digital/HD upgrade process!!) - I'll check when I get back home. So if I do, the update should just appear magically overnight?
