Recording Failed Due To Loss Of Power

FWIW, I've had recently few of these with a bog standard Humax since upgrading (if that's the word) to 1.03.12. Before upgrading, I had one occurrence in 3 years. Now, I've had 4 or 5 in the last couple of months. Nothing else has changed and, as the OP said, the files play normally. Doesn't...

    Retuning a Only Single MUx

Don't worry...it's on my list of things to do :-)

    Retuning a Only Single MUx

Ok thanks, that makes sense. However, what about the Film4 scenario where it stays on channel 15 but moves from MUX ArqB/COM6 to MUX D3&4/PSB2 and, just to complicate matters, Film4 is still being broadcast (albeit temporarily) on MUX ArqB/COM6, channel 791? For that matter, would a single MUX...

    Retuning a Only Single MUx

Hi Guys Just did a manual retune to sort out the Aug 1st Film4 MUX move and, whilst doing it, thought that it would have been nice if I could have only retuned the affected MUXs. A bit of googling threw up a comment from Black Hole in the avforums, last year, which said "You can retune just...

    Foxsat-HDR will not delete files.

Dunno about the Foxsat but you can get this problem on the FOX-T2 if you're watching a recording and try to delete it while it is still playing. This stops the playback but (usually) doesn't delete it. Moreover, it then seems to 'lock' the recording so it won't delete. The cure is to start the...

No signal or weak signal message

Any chance that that last Wednesdays auto-retune has occurred without the OP noticing and it has locked onto the wrong transmitter? That may be an explanation why the Hummy is reporting bad signal (autotune occurred onto the wrong transmitter) and their TV is still OK (no autotune and still...

Internet Radio Back So where is 1.02.29

OK so are they planning to rollout 1.02.29 OTA or do they just regard it as small fix that only those desperate for Internet Radio will manually download and apply?

Internet Radio Back So where is 1.02.29

Guys I just noticed that Internet radio is back on the portal back. Since this causes a reboot with 1.02.28, I would have thought that Humax would be distributing 1.02.29 (which is reported to fix it) OTA. However, no auto update has occurred and manual searches don't find any software. I know...

Sept 19th Retune - When Do We Retune our T2?

so it maybe that the Humax will display the old channel numbers but will still function correctly Hhmm, for the small amount of time that a manual retune will take, it's probably not worth risking the reaction of 'her indoors' if it turns out that the Humax will hiccup without a retune and...

Sept 19th Retune - When Do We Retune our T2?

This question isn't meant to be as daft as it might sound! I've got a various timers set for the 19th and I assume that even if they survive my manual retune (too many ghost stations from an auto retune), they will need to be recreated to cater for the fact that underlying channel assignments...

    Here We Go Again!

Bad idea.....in that case, it would be just as easy for the Martians to take it over (as long as they had a Mac - remember Independence Day)

New Fox user with a few queries....

Brianmt up to n0w that has been true. However, see my post here (http://hummy.tv/forum/threads/here-we-go-again.1948/ ) and the accompanying link. AFAIK the impact of this EPG reorganisation isn't yet known but I wouldn't be desperately surprised if it meant a full re-tune for everyone. Of...

    Here We Go Again!

Just in case anyone hasn't seen it, looks like we may have a full retune coming up again! http://www.reghardware.com/2012/07/31/dmol_announces_freeview_epg_revamp_for_september/ If we're on 1.02.28, does this mean we'll get auto-retuned whether we like it or not (unless, of course, we've...

    No HD channels found

I had exactly the same thing when I first tried to [manual] tune my Humax. I hadn't realised that the HD channels required the transmission type to be changed from DVB-T to DVB-T2. Would have thought the set-up wizard should pick this up but who knows?
