Folks, A small grievance I have with my Humax is the fact that it always connects to the previous channel when you turn it on and has the volume up. I'd like to either be able to have a blank screen or at least mute the Humax as soon as it turns on. I thought the package called 'poweron-channel'...

@ Black Hole - yes VLC will play decrypted HD files directly from the Humax via the Samba share and has a screen shot facility

@Ezra Pound: thanks for that - makes sense. So you can FTP or Samba files off the Humax if you send them to a virtual drive first. I will try that out...
