Not long replaced the HD in my Hummy and wondered if there was a method to zero out just the Smart statistics. I think the disk diagnostics are displaying data from my old faulty drive as the seek and read/write values are still very high.

Wow you guys are quick. Just installed the betaftpd package and disabled the built in FTP server as suggested and hey presto, FTP commander now connects smoooooth.

Decided to connect up my spare HDR Fox T2 recently and thought I would send some recordings to it via FTP commander. Problem is it's refusing a connection with an error "500 Connection refused (Winsock error #10061)" reported in FTP commander.
My original Humax connects just fine and...
The next time it happens I'll pull out the network cable to the TV and disable its WiFi. That should indicate where the web interface is coming from. Stay tuned for further updates.
