    Emailing errors

I read a recent thread on here saying that the Humax can send emails if Errors are detected notably HD sector errors. I never knew this (if it's true) and would like to set this up on my Humax. Any pointers chaps? Thanks

When you put it like that then yes it's obvious that these figures are from the new drive 😏

    Reset Smart statistics

Chaps. Not long replaced the HD in my Hummy and wondered if there was a method to zero out just the Smart statistics. I think the disk diagnostics are displaying data from my old faulty drive as the seek and read/write values are still very high. Thanks

    Odd behaviour

Thanks chaps. Its possible that someone pressed the TV portal button. I'll have to see if it happens in the future.

    Odd behaviour

The next time it happens I'll pull out the network cable to the TV and disable its WiFi. That should indicate where the web interface is coming from. Stay tuned for further updates.

    Odd behaviour

My Humax HDR Fox T2 has been very reliable for quite a while now which I'm really pleased about. However over the last couple of days, for no apparent reason and completely randomly, the web interface appears on the TV screen to which it is connected! I've never accessed the web interface on...

    Volume a little low

Hi Chaps I recently bought a sound bar that plugs into a HDMI port on my TV which sounds great. the only issue I'm having is that when I change to different HDMI inputs the volume has to be adjusted on the TV. Basically it's too quiet an output from the Humax. I have maxed out the volume on the...
