Hi
I started a manual decryption from the media browser. I assumed that it would continue in background if I left the progress bar page - I was wrong. I was left with a truncated file with only the start of the recording. I copied the originals back from the "_original" folder (all associated...
Thanks - got that and it seems to be working now. I assumed I needed to install a package. Couple of further questions:
Is there a log file produced so I can check what it has done Found it
Is it now safe from damaging recordings (as the previous unencrypt was prone to do if run during...
Trying to get auto unencyption working again. Unencrypt has not been working for some time (DLNA server crashed message). I notice that auto decrypt is now the preferred method, but I don't seem to have this in the package list. Do I need to upgrade to the latest firmware? I'm currently on 2.11...
I can also confirm. I've implemented the menu style fix, AND whitelisted the humax in adblock. I still get the issue. I have Adblock, IE Tab, Image search by cooliris, and tweetdeck extensions.
If I use IETab for the humax, it works fine. This is my short term solution, I've set IE Tab to be...
OK - same problem in incognito. Does seem to be Extension related, as I disabled all the extensions and it became more reliable. However it is inconsistent, so it is not possible to determine properly which extension is causing the issue (or if it is just having *any* extension enabled)

For me, the webif is seriously broken in Chrome. Works OK in IE.
Homepage looks initially OK (after opening in a new tab) but clicking any of the icons results in a messed up page, after which the home page is no longer functional).
I've just been unable to get to the web interface but not working. I've just checked, and the box has updated itself as in the subject. Is this likely to be the reason?
I was running quite an old custom firmware - but can't remember which.
What is best recovery mechanism - just install from...
OK, I've rebooted the box, and cron initiated decrypts don't seem to be taking place.
Manually starting them from the command line works though. Any ideas?
Sam - Didn't give you feedback after your help last weekend. Everything now seems to be running fine, and the humax is just getting on and decrypting stuff as it gets recorded. The whole system now works just as I have always wanted*
Huge thanks to you, and the other guys working on this...
Is there any danger that decrypt in place will prevent recordings starting? It just failed on strictly results. If more than 5 minutes had been missed, I'd have been hung drawn and quartered!
Got it - in Putty, there was a setting "Return key sends telnet New Line instead of ^M" checked. Clearing that stopped a double line feed being generated on enter. Thanks for your help. Just need to wait now while the box chunters through everything.
