okay performed factory reset then when rebooting and entering the config wizard, I got as far as selecting 1080p. The display then went crazy and I had to power off and on. The upshot is pulling the power after a factory reset worked. Full retune - manually and upon increasing the volume the...- mn283

mmm my 2000T updated last night. Now every 5 mins or so the screen goes green and stays green :( Anyone else experienced the same ? I guess the next thing to try is a full reset or full power down, annoyed me last night, so went to sleep instead....- mn283

HDR 2000T Picture Problem
Sorry 'direct connection', I have a pioneer receiver so took that out of the equation and connected via a HDMI from hummy to second input on TV - no change. I did tie wrap the aerial leads together to make it neater. I have a PS3 and raspberry PI which are on different inputs but work fine. I...- mn283

HDR 2000T Picture Problem
Any ideas anyone ? I have a new 2000T which has replaced my dead fox-t2 which worked fine for 2 1/2 years. The problem I am seeing is a picture 'tear' a couple of inches from the bottom of the picture i.e. a horizontal line left to right, almost like it loses sync for a brief moment. These are...- mn283

Okay new 2000t in and working fine, have to say though this one looks and feels cheap. I'm using the HDR-FOX T2 remote as the 2000t remote is rubbish. I like the reduced size and the plug top psu is not so bad, although I bet this will be the first part to fail. I did ring Humax and they...- mn283

Ezra, yes good point. I have a new 2000t on its way so will work on it once removed. It shouldn't of over heated as it was in an open space but you never know. I plan to re-install CF and decrypt my recordings and try to get them off the HD, so will run some tests then. Google only seems to find...- mn283

Hi all ! For year now my HDR-FOX T2 has performed perfectly and then to find the customized firmware was a real bonus and have been running that for a year or so. However last night bad picture. So.... I retuned - no change / Reset to defaults - No change / Noted it had updated to new Humax...- mn283

Some questions...
perhaps to prevent people hacking the box around ? personally I would of boasted about the ability to use a usb keyboard. But I guess its more for Humax to support.- mn283

I wouldn't have thought operational code would of been the cause, I was thinking its part of the Linux OS. although are the packages you guys have created / installed on-top of the humax operational code ?- mn283

very good ! its a shame Humax did allow for a keyboard to be connected via usb for naming folders etc....Considering the power of the unit it loaded quicker than the official portal.- mn283

Ezra, no problem little slow thinking this am. On another note, I saw google browser on the xtra portal, I know its only in beta, but how do you enter text ? I can only enter numbers using the remote.- mn283

okay I didn't follow the link through on the first one (should read it fully) I understand now, thanks all. I think manually decryption (method 3) with the auto-unprotect will suit me fine as I don't need to copy files off very often.- mn283
