Not sure if this will help but thought it worth posting just in case.
Have seen some reports that BT home hub has a smart setup option that can interfere with iPlayer.
If yours has you could try turning that option off on the home hub...
Happy Birthday
Development of the year for me has to be the ability to get rs requested recordings on to the box immediately rather than needing a reboot.
6 years with still a strong user base is testament to how good the cf is.
Thank you again

Now I'm feeling silly.
I had set it to record via RS with a search string of "Saturday Night Takeaway" years ago and it's recorded fine each series.
Just double checked and I'd set the channel to BBC1 - didn't realise my wife had been setting it to record manually on the box when my RS search...
Did anyone have issues with recordings last night 25/3/17 on ITV (Tyne Tees)
Most of the prime time programmes are showing in the EPG with "New" in front of the name.
"Saturday Night Takeaway" failed to record even though I had a series record set.
Have ITV changed the CRID's?

The gaps appear when a programme in the first column is long
I think this is may be by design
E.g. At 10:30am today on now shows programmes on now
On next shows programmes on at 11am but is grey if the programme on now continues beyond 11am
On later shows programmes on at 12:00 noon but again...
Have done rs epg offer which executed without errors.
Problem remains - gray boxes in exactly the same places but only when viewed using the sequence of commands I listed. In grid view and on initial login to rs there are no grey gaps.
The EPG data all seems to be there just not displaying...
I've still got the gaps but only in certain views, I can reproduce as follows:
Logged in to rs
Click on "EPG" search button to the right of "home" at top of screen
Click on "guide" in pop up box
I've done an " rs push" from the command line but still get the gaps

Just realised that the original EPG view doesn't show programmes if they start after midnight which is where the gray parts of the EPG display are.

Re subtitles
I was amused recently when BBC news were talking about "Siemens" the sub title kept saying "see mens"

I use DiscoverTV by radio times bit slow in loading but fine after that
Standard TV listings but also has a TV choices section listing a selection by category eg top 5 films

Yes was thinking of using sweeper. For the moment I've just tweaked the time setting as the original programme tends to be on earlier in the evening with the "old" version gets a late night slot

Generally find it works well
Got an issue at the moment with an entry for "have I got news for you" as it finds and records "have I got old news for you"
Can't think of a way of getting it to record the former without the latter?
