  XBMC seems to be one of the few programmes that work make sure the humax is not playing anything then follow the process below start XBMC video Add source browse Upnp Devices once there you should see the humax

  when ever i try to stream off the humax, and it is doing anything more than freeview ie playing a recording/youtube ect. the pc and the laptop cant find it i'm using XBMC to stream to the pc and laptop

  has anyone managed to watch anything using the media server my windows pc sees the humax, and media player sees the files but wont play, just installed XBMC but that cant see the humax has yet

  i reported a possible bug back in april http://hummy.tv/forum/threads/another-bug.231/ but if its only happened that once and its been fine since. have you tried to recreate the problem on another recording, if it can be recreated that should eliminate hardware failure
