Just freed up 150gb by running the de-duplicate for the first time on the kids shows. wow thats really impressive. Have moved them all into a folder called 'all kids' and hoping that the series flateen works. I've also set the auto dedup at the top level folder - or should be on each series...
I thought id try this on OSX. I didnt have the vlc plugin in chrome and was running older version of the app, 1.12. I couldn't seem to find the plugin so just installed the latest version 2.0.2.
Dont even need to use the webif website!! I can just doubleclick on a recording via vlc/dlna...
Hi Af.. I use this and think its a nice touch.
Any way it can be applied to radio as well? As it defaults to noisy Radio 1 and id rather it defaulted to BBC6 every time i switch to radio.
I understand this might be tricky as the box boots to TV automatically but can it have a radio station...

The catchup looks like it works well, just scroll back and play.
i wonder will it still allow avi/mp4 playback. I'm tempted.. just standard gadget envy :)
if it does take off it will make the average persons life a lot handier, ol grannys and the like!
done, just wacked .28 official on then the new cfw and all looks hunky dory.
I didn't even know there was a youtube problem until ya few days ago, wife was looking to put some nursery rhymes on. So i turned to hummy.tv, where else!
Ah yes that would be cool!!! I have an old analog TV in the bedroom for the news in the morning and come October & the digital switchover I will have to get a freeview digibox. I was considering a hd fox t2 but its rather bulky. I would rather have a nice wee lcd with build in freeview and a...
This has been bugging me since I bought it.
I stick on a recorded show around 6.30pm for my wee boy to watch and wind down before bed while I can tidy up and do the dishes. Then it ends and the media menu is still oncreen with live tv behind it. So I have to come in, find the remote and...

Older version 2.9 seemed to work with a sample MKV but havent tried with full file yet as i hadnt quiet grasped the cmd line / terminal stuff.
I also got it working with this mac app which has a better GUI for noobs http://www.rovelightly.org/2011/06/16/mkv2vob-mac-port/

Yeah after reading the other thread i see now that its basically an old boys club. No biggy. It would be nice if the xbox 360 supported it, the Hummy is always on anyway and if that xbox auto switched then life would be a touch easier. The Hummy remote controls the TV anyhoo
Anyone know any decent apps for Mac OSX that do this? I struggle with some MKV's - namely the latest Game of Thrones. Re-encoding is a pain (Handbrakes) I would rather re-mux.
Oh sorry i didnt see this thread and i just posted one of my own  Cant see a way to delete it either.
Does anyone know if the Xbox 360 supports cec?
Hey I just got a new TV delivered. I see that it supports HDMI-CEC which means it should automatically change source when the device is powered on etc. (Although it looks like only HDMI 1 supports it) I suppose I'll find out when i get it setup tonight but was just wondering has anyone got a...
