Noticed the problem on my TV as well, so that meant it was the NAS itself. The DNLA Language was set to Japanese and the character set was wrong
I recently updated my NAS to a Buffalo LS400 enclosure.
Everything works fine with it, and my PC, laptop, tablet etc all see the folder names and tree correctly

As a happy user of HDRFOX-T2 with cfw, I just got a BT youview box for the sport.
At present I have both boxes plugged in and likely to stay that way, just wondered if playback of NAS or USB files is possible on youview, as the big ugly remote doesn't seem to have a button for this.

I have managed to rescue recordings from a dying pvr9150T onto my computer hdd using humaxrw.
Is it possible/advisible to transfer these files to an hdrfox-t2 ?
my hdrfox-t2 has custom fw and ftp, but i notice that apart from the .ts file the accompanying files have different file extensions.

So i downloaded the official 1.02.29, then the custom patch. ftp still works ok. - if webif password was recognised I could live with...
I updated firmware last month and installed webif, everything runnning sweetly.
Just this week, if I type the ip address in my browser, a username and password is requested.
The ip address is the same as before and i can connect via ftp no problem.
The default username and password do not...
