Right I've copied it to the 'virtual drive', hoping it would decrypt in the process, but no it hasn't, even though it says that it is decrypted
When trying to play any of the "decrypted" or original recordings I get the following message on the TV:-
So I cannot play any of those...
After following af123's advice, I've run the telnet commands which alowed me to decrypt again
Once again it reached about 93% (was going up 1% every 30 sec or so), and then jumped to 100%
It has made the 'original' folder and put a copy in the folder, and the recording I tried to decrypt has...
Thanks Ezra for your reply
It was me who had the problem with niceplice as well, so it does seem to be something to do with the size of the file that may be causing the problem
Next time, I won't record the whole program, I'll start it just before kick off and stop it as soon as the game...
Over the weekend I recorded one of the BBC HD Six Nations matches, and after it had finished I set it to Decrypt
The Decryption reached part of the way through and then jumped to 100% and appeared to finish
It created a file that was marked as Decrypted, and placed a copy in to an 'Original'...
If you don't mind the conversion taking a few hours to complete you could try the following setting to convert to interlaced
Video Output
MPEG4 AVC (x264)
Click Filters - this then gives you the options for Transform/swsResize, and Interlacing
If you going to try Avidemux, don't use the std installation file (v2.5.6 rev 7716), use one of the beta ones, as it gives more output options
I got mine from the link below v2.6 beta build revison 7719

I normally set the video to 'copy' and the audio to...
MediaInfo reports the HD 'extract to MPG' file as:-

First Video Stream - 1440*1080 (16:9), at 25fps, AVC (High@L4.0) (CABAC/4 Ref Frames)
First Audio Stream - MPEG Audio

I've given up on FreeMakeVideo, it just crashes for all my HD recordings
I now started to use Avidemux
It has loads more configuration options, and you can edit/cut HD recordings without crashing unlike FreeMakeVideo
You are correct af123
There was no 'indexed by DLNA server' icon next to the recording, but it appeared after the reboot
Does that mean that I only needed the reboot for it to work, saving the uninstall/reinstall of the 'auto-unprotect' package?
Now that it has decrypted, the recording in...
*SOLVED*
I removed the 'auto-unprotect' package, and then installed it again, followed by rebooting the Hummy, and now the Decrypt option is available for this recording
I have a HD recording which I want to decrypt, but the option is greyed out in Webif, other recordings has the decrypt available as an option, so it's only this one recording
I did a search for a resolution and found a possible resolution by 'editing a tcl script' posted by Raydon
I have...
As an update to this thread:-
I have now found out that when it atemps to crop the recording and fails, it puts a copy in to an 'original' folder, but this 'original' recording now becomes unplayable on the Hummy
I get a message on the TV saying that "the channel is scrambled or not...
That's funny, because now I've upgraded to 17.0.963.46, mine is working OK now
Bearing in mind that I know noting about web sites and how they are created, I've recently updated some add-ons and Java in Chrome, so it may not be Chrome that is causing the issue, but something else

EDIT - title should say Cropping Failure - fat finger syndrome
I've recorded a program that is 10.36GB in size from BBC1 HD
I've set the bookmarks to use to cut out the sections I don't want
When I use the 'crop' function in Webif (recording is 2:29:32 total length, and 1:32:47 (62.05%)...
Just wanted to ask a simple question
When using Webif on my PC and I tell it to do something like:-
1. Copy/Paste
2. Decrypt
3. Crop
Do I have to leave that particular page in Webif open until it completes, or can I close Webif or move to a different page and it will continue to do what I...
Increasing the pagefile made no difference
I have also installed the program on a different PC, and it crashes there also, so it's not my main PC at fault
I'm in the process now of downloading all the previous versions of the program, and will install them one at a time and try the...
There is plenty of disk space of each of the hard drive for each OS, and plenty of RAM spare
But you have got me thinking about the pagefile size - I'll increase it to see if it makes any difference
