After the reply from Luke (thanks) I checked the tuning on my TV and it verified CH55 746 MHz with quality 10 and strength 10 (out of 10)
So I tried another manual tune on the Humax leaving the default 8Mhz with DVB-T2 and that showed 65% strength and 100% quality and tuned fine.
So perhaps a...
I am having similar issues with winter hill and my humax. It is very strange as my TV (that takes the aerial after the humax) can receive BBC news hd fine and my humax during a manual tune doesn't even find the channel. Has anyone found a resolution to this?
cloud9: I am one of the people who currently runs at around 50% full - mainly due to upgrading to a 2TB drive :)
There is plenty of guidance on doing the upgrade (e.g. http://wiki.hummy.tv/wiki/2TB_Disk_Installation_Blog) and for £80 spend I have twice the on box storage and a 1TB drive to...
An update,
I have run the epgrange diagnostic twice and they both seem to indicate a 'full' epg

Thanks af123, I will run diagnostic and telnet to clear it out the EPG and keep an eye.
I will update my RS version too :D - thanks!
Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium has now been successfully scheduled too so all is good in the world!
Thanks Ezra, EPG region is North West which looks correct. What happens is that if I notice the failure I can wait a few days and try again and it will work. I think that my EPG schedule extends for 5-6 days rather than the 7 days I get via RS and that causes the issue when I use that to...
I have noticed that often when I try and schedule a recording using the RS service I will sometimes get the message "!Error, cannot find event to schedule." message in the activity log.
For example this morning I tried to record Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium showing on Sun, 24 Nov 2013. Now...
Okay so this is a bit weird I have a standard format drive that is reporting as being misaligned - am I special :D?

Thanks again af123. Thread followed without any problems, now all my channels are from Winter Hill. After running rs/chanpush and rs/epgpush I now have all the channels listed in RS and have the correct EPG region (North West (12330))
Scheduled saved thanks to the genius of the restore...
Output from rs/epgdump pasted below.
I don't have any need for the Wales channels so if I could get rid of them it would be ideal.
Thanks

Looks to be similar to another thread http://hummy.tv/forum/threads/itv-hd-missing-from-remote-scheduling.3393/ I will watch this one and see if it gives me the answer. Cheers
Hi
When I look at the remote scheduling service I can see my EPG region as Wales (12368). The hummy actually receives North West (I can see this from the on the box guide).
I have tried updating this a couple of time using the diagnostic tool rs/epgpush but it doesn't update. I have also tried...
Thanks everyone for your responses - all so helpful. I think that has me convinced that I need a Pi now!
I must say that I never expected so much out of the hummy! I am so grateful to be able to benefit from the collective skills and experiences of others.
Thanks!
Could anyone with a Pi with XMBC on it share their experience on it performance? I would be looking to get one solely to stream hummy content to a tv in another room. So the scenario would be main telly busy decide to watch something recorded in another room, what is the elapsed time from...
As an ex Topfield (Toppy to its friends :) ) user I have been spoiled. The bespoke code MyStuff (thanks BobD) would check all instances for conflict and automatically move them to +1 showings or repeats (including showings on other channels)
I was delighted to find the RS conflict...
Disc or Disk I don't mind, I have a new button to press so I am happy.
PS love the development style 'link to mobile interface' ... 'setting to disable mobile link' -- cater for everyone :)
Thanks both, I too noticed the subtle 'file system was modified' notice and was concerned. I've not spotted anything missing but as I am not the main consumer of the box.... sure the OH will shout out.
I will see how the disk handles normal operation and if I get further issues.
Cheers
