Thanks for the info
In the meantime I have found it. Its on the browse media menu [save last streamed content]
Its been a long time since I have pulled the webif up, it had changed from how I remembered it, along with a poor memory lol.
I only pulled it up becasue my box had crashed.
I might have this wrong, but is there [could you at one time] download the most recent program watched on iplayer ?
I seem to remember using this once upon a time, but for the life of me cant find it in the menu.
Regards
Umpa..
I have just logged in to take a capture and its working... My best guess it was a internet thing.
FWIW I did try turning it on and off but it made no difference at the time.
Thanks for the reply chaps.
Is it normal to have the guide work on the box, but not via the webif. My F2T is doing just that, not updating/showing the guide on the computer but works ok on the box.
how do I fix this ?
I can't access the Humax from my mac - it says "The version of the server you are trying to connect to is not supported. Please contact your system administrator to resolve the problem."
I don't want to use UPNP. So its FTP for me.
Just found out - it deleted all my recordings and left the files I told it to delete -lol. Its all backed up so no problem. I think this is going to be harder than I thought.
a slave ? Only if you were a woman !. Although with the name black hole I might give it a miss - lol
No seriously I did not know the packages had any form of documentation, I figured there would be a clickable link in the webif if there was. I will go check it out.
The main problem is that on the small occasion I do use the humax to watch a recorded programme the files show up in the media listing obscuring what I want to select. Is there any info on this sweeper package ?, I have not used it this sounds like it might be the answer.
Hi, its deffo the NAS. It creates the files when a backup in initiated, I don't know why I guess I have to ask in their toxic forums i guess. Thanks for all your help.
Well its done it again, so the next thing is to stop the overnight backup. If it does it then, it has to be the Humax otherwise it is NAS that is writing files during a backup process. I'll let you know in a few days.
Perhaps, but its never done it until now. I have updated the NAS firmware over the years so that might be the reason. I have deleted the files and will see if they come back.
Just so you know, I only use the Humax to record certain shows and decrypt them, then a NAS copies them for archival purposes, thus I hardly ever mess with it - hence I have to re-learn how to use it when it goes wrong - lol
Thanks for the info
