I installed CF six hours ago and I had no issues with the T2. As soon as I plugged in the Ethernet connector the system crashed (I thought I'd have to wait a while) so I logged on and let the CF do its thing for a few minutes. Added dlna-filter a few minutes ago. Time will tell, but I'm sure...
To look at an earlier thread would only cloud the matter. It is what is covered in this thread that is relevant.
No, I didn't try dlna-filter. I'll give it another twenty four hours, and if there are no crashes, I'll install the CF and the dlna-filter.
Tks
Pete
It has been performing as it should every time I've used it since Tuesday, up until tonight, that is. I selected the T2 on my TV and it was doing a reboot. It did a few more until I removed the RG45 patch lead to the router which, was posted as a possible fix my earlier thread. That was an hour...
I did sort the PSU last year, but just in case, I put a scope on it (12v per div y axis, 5 sec per div x axis) to see if the voltage was disappearing. It wasn't.
It's early days yet but since I reverted to the Humax firmware yesterday, now 30 hours and counting, I've had no problems. I'm...
Few suggestion there. I'm leaning toward a hardware fault. I'm going to check the fan out in case it's overheating, I'll also change the HDD and see what happens.
I am using Windows 10. Would 11 be a better prospect to format the USB stick?
I shall try a different USB stick and see what...
I'd like to run my T2 with the standard Humax firmware and start afresh, as the reboots seem so random. Sometimes for several days without a glitch and then every couple of minutes.
I have a stick with hdr_fox_t2_upgrade.hdf on it. but it is ignored when I power down using the rear switch...
prpr asked "So what was the actual fix?"
As I said on Tuesday at 8:48 PM "I clicked the "Download & install the Full Web Interface" button and all of the "Congratulations............." message appeared.
After a reboot all is back to normal.
Prior to this attempt I had accessed the Telnet menu...

Thanks for that, I'm monitoring the situation at the moment so I can give a more comprehensive report on what is amiss. I had multiple crashes yesterday until I did a power cycle at 21.00 last night since then all is well. The crash report shows crashes at mostly around 67 or 108 seconds, with...
As far as this thread goes, I've learned quite a bit and the CF is back to normal. Although there are further issues, but I think they deserve another thread.
Thanks again
Pete
I left the T2 running for several hours without any reboots. I had no packages installed, but I then installed "auto-unprotect" and only that one. I checked it out and it was doing its thing. However when I logged on to the Web IF I had a warning of eighteen crashes. I checked the crash log and...
The last time I had a public bollocking like that I was back in the 50's when I was in Grammar school. It might have been one of my many transgressions. It could have been the railway detonators, the trading of Harrison Marks photos, taking the afternoon off to go swimming in the sea at Langland...
I had to reregister for the portal, but when I try to access it I get this message. "sorry, this application is not currently available on your device".
Thanks for the heads up.
I should have said that it crashes playing stuff off a USB stick as well, so I think the HDD may be OK. It's 2TB and not that old. I can also access media on a NAT server and play compatible files. When I do a reboot it says Custom FW 3.13.
I had a USB memory stick, with some MP4 media on it, plugged into the front port of my T2, when it decided to do a reboot. I am now presented with the "Custom Firmware Successfully Installed" page. When I click on the "Download & Install........." I get the "Reboot System" button. When I click...
Thanks for the suggestion. I have two in the house, but mine has an audio compatibility problem, to do with which HDMI I use on the TV. I'll check to see if this one also has an isseu.

I am receiving my signal from the Carmel Transmitter in Carmarthenshire.
There are two issues I'm experiencing with the the above.
GB News on COM6 ArqB CH48 600.0Mhz keeps rebooting every few minutes. I do not have the same problem with the few other services that I've tried on this Mux. I...
