Thanks, but just the same in Chrome.
With undelete installed WebIF home page will not show, just the bar across the top.
I've tried the 'reset' WebIF file via USB. I'll try a 'remove all custom firmware packages and setting' now I've the WebIF working.
Over the last couple of days WebIF has brocken.
I load the page from firefox, in Windows 7 and I get asked for my password then is displays just a line across the top but no text.
I've tried updating the firmware to the lastest 3.02 with 2.32 but still the same
I've tried the 'system flush'...
You're a star thanks. I guess the only reason to prefer bigger files is to ensure you get an uniterupted rrcording.
I like the idea of keeping the old one though.
Many thanks for weaving your magic. :)
Have I missed something?
Is anyone else noticing that when they collect a series the De-Dup function of WebIF seems erratic as to which duplicate it keeps?
:)
Does dedup have any preferences?
Does it prefer to keep bigger files or older one?
Is there any way to ensure it picks the older watched one to keep?
I ask because I am finding the file it keeps to sometimes be a new one and sometimes an old one. This leave me checking the new file to see if I...

Thanks. Loving my Humax thanks to the custumer firmware. Everyone needs one. :)
So I'm still unsure what to do as I gather more and more doubles.
1. I either delete GB of data from before 23.06.2014.
2. I don't understand why the new naming scheme does not rename older files?
3. Do something with another program, which I am still, not sure about. (any help?)
Guess I was...
Thank af123.
Pleased its not just me going mad. :)
Ok... so now it replaces special characters with underscores and leaves spaces, where as before it left special characters ( . for sure) and made spaces underscores.

I posted the following post under 'sweeper' but I think it is a WebIF problems.
Basally I think WebIf's De-dup is now naming files slightly differently.
They are displayed on the TV as the same but things have changed under the Webif.
So De-dup does now removes the_underscore_used_as_spaces...
Hello,
Sorry if this has been covered before.
I've been recording the Simpsons for a while. I'm using sweeper and depud to make sure I only keep new ones.
This was working well, but now for what ever reason the naming by depud is working slightly differently and therefore keeping doubles...
Thank you all for the responses.
So what is the point of

EFI Partition tables;"
if not to enable larger disks?:duel:
I bet it would now take any size disk....
With a bit of support I'll give it a go. It'll be a better solution that an external disk.:doublethumbsup...
Does this mean I can install a disk bigger than 2TB? :cautious:
"Large block devices;
EFI Partition tables;"
If not, can someone recommend a usb cradle for the 2tb drive have at the moment so I can move it external and install a new empty drive?
Thanks :)
Great, thanks, that worked.
Sorry did not realise I was not the only one, thought it must be my hard disk.
Thanks again.

I can not paste my log as it crashes my computer, must be too big.
I'll try and attach a file but it will not let me do it, so I'll add a link soon.

Seemed to get into a few loops and now I'm back to where I started with Fix-disk only running with option -P

OK Thanks. I'll give it a go.:)
but I think I tied it before and it could not, then the option went away.
I think the wiki guide tells you to answer no unless it says delete loop.
Thank you.
So I ran fix-disk with option -P. Which skips pending section check. Fix disk completed over night.
Now when I run fix-disk is runs without option -P
but I get the error below.

I get the following message when trying to fix a pending sector in maintenance mode.
"Error - pending sectors but LBA not found"
It then goes no further.
Is there a line command I could use to try and fix it?
Thanks
