Webif icons explained
What does the green circle with an underscore on a folder icon mean please? I have looked through the wiki but can't find it, sorry if I missed it. Nor can I see anything special about the file in the folder. Ta.- Robobunny

Clearly, as I'd swapped the disk ;) - I added that to give others that may be cautious of a disk replacement (as I was) more confidence that's it's straightforward. Screensaver for Radio background distracting flashing
I've just installed the "advanced" package "radio-ss-off" - it's purpose is to disable the screensaver when listening to radio. Doesn't fix the original post as written, however for me it's an effective solution, as I'm happy to see the radio text anyway. I have used the same Samsung 'Eco menu'...- Robobunny

How do I replace internal hard drive
OK Job done, physically straightforward (it was easier to unscrew the drive holder from the base, then pull the SATA connector off the drive). I noted after a full reboot, the drive is /dev/sdb, and in Maintenance mode it's /dev/sda. Let the box reformat - the start sectors of each partition...- Robobunny

Ah yes prpr, quite probably. I live and learn. I was wondering what I did recently which may have got it into this state. I did install detectads a couple of months ago (mainly to free up disk space) but no evidence it is to blame. Off topic but that package is working well for our viewing habits.- Robobunny

The first time I ran the above commands it printed a bunch of stuff then hang at updating the DLNA database (I left it an hour but 'top' showed nothing going on except the expected "humaxtv" process), so rebooted via web-if, ran the above commands again (completed...- Robobunny

Web interface process crashes after any package install
My unit running 1.03.12 has developed an issue whereby the web interface stops working after using it to install any package. A "ps -ef" shows no lighttpd, recovery is with "service start lighttpd" as expected, and then the process list shows 3 instances (is that normal?). I don't often change...- Robobunny

Some GUI buttons not working after webif upgrade [Fixed - Clear Browser Cache]
[FIXED] Thanks prpr, clearing the cache got those items working again. Hadn't occurred to me that the browser itself was causing the problem as only the Humax was altered. So in this case it was definitely the webif upgrade, not the CF upgrade, which led to this (as I upgraded CF, changed IP...- Robobunny

Also the Diagnostic "Channel Information" link is similarly broken (it's looking for /cgi-bin/channel.jim which also is missing). I removed the webif ( opkg remove webif --force-depends) and let it reinstall it from the basic web page, and no difference. I let the packages update themselves...- Robobunny

Forgot to mention, after the upgrade I ran a maintenance mode " 1 - Check and repair hard disk (fix-disk)" (fix-disk.log showed no errors but wondered if that could've done it - seems unlikely), and I also cleared epg and reset DLNA database.
