HDR-FOX T2 remote controller
So, I am thinking, how do I use a remote controller to operate one T2 unit without interfering with a second unit, is there a way to ensure a remote controller only works with a particular unit?- Foxtrot204

HDR to HDR communication
I would like to be able to setup a HDR unit to communicate with a second unit so that programs may be played from one to the other. So what is possible please using the CF setup and is there a link to the information, I have read the Wiki info, but I am not sure. Thanks- Foxtrot204

HDR-FOX T2 not receiving TV signal
Hi, I bought this a day or so ago and upon connecting up and powering up it displays channels after initiating startup, but the TV signal is say 'the receiver is receiving no signal or a weak one' words to that effect. Any ideas what can be wrong, connecting the aerial to the TV directly shows...- Foxtrot204

External HDD not detected by HDR FOX T2?
OK apologies, I am mearly exploring the idea of having a functional external HDD, have not yet decided as to application. However two things come to mind, firstly can decrypted recordings be transferred over, if so how?, And secondly how can I access the external HDD from the web interface. Thanks- Foxtrot204

Hi, please could you shed some light on this issue if you could. I have a 1TB Buffalo HD-PNFU-3 USB drive, which I have formatted to Ext3 using GParted on my Linux laptop, when I attach it to the front USB port of the FOX T2 the white light on the drive comes on, but I can't find the drive on...- Foxtrot204

Another RF pass-through question...
OK point taken, what I have done is attenuated the signal from the mast amplifier into the box, and now the pixilation has gone, so perhaps the tuner was overwhelmed by the signal. Once again thank you for helpful comments.- Foxtrot204

T1010 irregular powering up
So having read all the information on the myhumax.org site regarding the T1010 it would appear the problem that stops the box in its tracks is the microprocessor, when I think about it, it does not surprise me at all as it runs very hot and the cooling afforded to it is very poorly designed as...- Foxtrot204

T1010 irregular powering up
I will attach a photo of the motherboard of the T1010, the problem is one of HDD powering up, the Usb ports also fail to power up, the power points for both the usb and the HDD have 0.0v, so how are these points powered? Thank you yet again for explaining in simple precise language the state of affairs as regards to the Portal, I am now perfectly clear about it. I do love the FOX T2, and the custom firmware, it certainly records well and appears to be much more reliable than the T1000/1010 type.- Foxtrot204
