Thanks for the suggestions.
Remote control code:
I have two HDR-FOX boxes (one in the kitchen, the other in the lounge) and a Harmony 525 remote control.
None of the remote controls can bring up the the on-screen message on the Kitchen HDR-FOX.
I can get it displayed on the Lounge HDR-FOX...
I have tried running ir3/debugon diagnostic twice, and have been accessing the humaxtv.log file via the diagnostics webif screen. But can not see any IR-related messages :-(
last few lines are:
92 ########################################
91 ###### New Cert is Added
90 CertPath :rootcert_1k.pem...
I do wonder if there is a connection between IIRC and the physical remote controls not working.
Anyway, any suggestions to help diagnose/resolve the remote control issue?
I am reluctant to remove and re-install all of the custom firmware, but it is the only thing I can think of.
Recently the remote controls (a standard Humax and Logitech Harmony 525) have stopped working and only a power cycle seems to get them back.
A recent update to the latest custom firmware appeared to have solved the problem for a week, but it has now started reoccurring.
Possibly linked...
Also, I already had dlna-servername installed etc. I will be trying out the solutions suggested in the tp article linked above this evening (I work away from home a few nights a week).
Thanks again to this forum for the help and suggestions of what you can do with your Humax.
Following some problems with internet access that Black Hole helped me resolve (thanks again), my DLNA servers now either disappear or don't appear.
The initial problem was after a firmware upgrade, it seems my modem/router (Archer D7) got confused and prevented my two HDRs from connecting...
Hi, I have just turned off all of the homeplugs, disconnected all but the HDR from the modem/router and turned off it's wifi.
Still unable to connect to the internet :-(
I have four HomePlugs (connected to modem/router, x-box, HDR and a PC) I assume you mean to take all of them off line (sorry if stating the obvious).
Unfortunately, I am not back at home until Tuesday evening, so will not be able to try it out until then.
Do appreciate the suggestions/help.
