I would add that Pose and, I think, Fosse/Verdon both had episodes of wildly varying length on BBC.
All were recorded at the appropriate length without restort to padding with extraneous irrelevant material.
I thank everyone for their interesting replies.
I had no idea about the clicking on the pie chart - Thanks, Luke.
Yes, I did think that the amount of screen action might be the key - Thanks, MikeSh.
In fact combining these two things, I can see that these Work From Home programmes seem to be...
Bit of an esoteric one.
Which recordings take the most disk space per hour or minute?
Is there a difference by channel?
Is there a difference by genre?
This occurred to me as I was seeing which recordings I could bear to delete and how much space I would gain.
Maybe I should add that I...
FreeView EPG is missing the following channels on Saturday 16 November 2019.
6am Saturday 16 November 2019 -3am Sunday 17 November - Channel 5 HD
6am BBC ONE HD
Did we get a fix for it?
You're right.
The title isn't relevant to my new issue.
Apologies.
@MymsMan - Thanks for the advice. I shall probably hard reboot it once a week to try to forestall frequent freezes.
Thought I'd come back to this thread rather than start a new one.
On average, once a month my T2 is non-responsive to the remote and doesn't record the schedule.
Could it possibly have anything to do with having BBC Red Button FreeView 250 as its default channel?

I wasn't...
My guess is that the BBC hadn't decided which channel to show it on, so blocked out both channels.
I dare say, the decision has now been taken, but not everyone has been informed!
Well, this hasn't been fixed.
I'm on Sandy Heath, for the record.
The BBC site has the same info.

FIFA Women's World Cup Quarter-Final: Germany v Sweden is scheduled for Saturday June 29th 17:15 - 19:45 on BBC1.
It is also scheduled for Saturday June 29th 17:15 - 19:30 on BBC2.
It's in the hummy EPG and it's on the official FreeView site.
The Radio Times site has what I hope are correct...
If you have a series link for
Have I Got News for You Sunday 10:30pm - 11pm
or
Have I Got a Bit More News for You on Monday 11pm - 11:40pm
then these episodes won't be picked up because they are marked as repeats.
However, they are not.
They are a first broadcast of the episode featuring...
How would I identify a rogue recording?
FYI I powered it down for half an hour and then up again.
The duplicate Disable OTA Series Link disappeared.
The duplicate --- Sleep --- and --- Wake-up --- events remain.
Interestingly, or not, the slot numbers for each are three apart.
Slot numbers...
Interesting.
I refreshed Web-IF, expecting it to fail to connect given I guessed it was more then 3 hours idle.
Web-IF is reporting "Idle 3h, 17m".
The dropdown from the menu, telling you what T2 is doing (playing X, recording Y), says
"System is in standby."
Is this the fabled half-awake...
Christ, I hope not.
Hence my concern.

Had a look at the Visual Schedule and last night's (this morning's) Disable OTA is there.
There are two set up for each of the next seven days.
Slightly perturbed to see my Disable OTA Series Link dead at the bottom of my Scheduled Events list.
There is, however, a Disable OTA Series Link in the schedule for tomorrow morning.
I also have last night's --- Sleep --- and --- Wake-up --- in the schedule.
These also have duplicates.
