Trying to move things off my parents' old PVR-9150T HD to then FTP them onto their new HDR-FOXT2.
I jumped the gun a bit, and after connecting the HD to my PC with a SATA adaptor HD dock thing, I allowed Windows to "initialise" the disk"...whoops.
Now looking at the documentation...

I know there's a warning about the Hummy maybe not restarting when you click restart after setting a programme to record via the Web IF, but until recently mine always restarted fine. Recently it's failing to start everytime.
Any thing I can tweak?

I've got all the recording off my old PVR9300T, and FTPd the files to my new HDR-FOX T2. All seems to be working.
My question is: do I need the .elu, .epg and .hre files that are associated with each .ts file? There came off the old device, but need they go onto the new one? They're tiny...

The deal breaker is that the custom firmware will allow me to use Sky Player: I live in a property where we can't have a sky dish (conservation...), so currently watching Sky is a faff as it means connecting laptop up to the TV (I have a valid sky...
I have a Humax 9300t but am upgrading to the FOX to get the HD channels. Is it possible to move the contents of my existing device onto the T2?
